What we buy
Bring the watch even if it does not run or has no box. Do not polish it, discard old parts or separate it from its paperwork and extra links.
Transparent evaluation
We review the case, dial, movement, bracelet, reference details, condition, completeness and authenticity indicators. Precious-metal content may matter, but a recognized watch should be evaluated as a complete watch before it is treated as metal alone.
Testing and equipment
XRF analysis can help identify case or bracelet metal when appropriate, but it does not authenticate a watch by itself. Brand, reference, movement, condition, originality and market demand must also be examined.
